On Wednesday 6th December, TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) London celebrated it’s 25th anniversary and also appointed a new president, Nina Amin MBE, at the Carlton Jumeirah in Knightsbridge.

Celebrated comedian Sindhu Vee entertained guests, futurist and TED speaker, Tracy Follows spoke on future business trends and Raishma Couture put on a fantastic display of custom gowns.
TiE London focuses on fostering entrepreneurship and championing education and collaboration across the globe.
Over the past 3 years, President Dinesh Dhamija has grown the London Chapter of TiE into a flourishing, exciting Membership offering for London Entrepreneurs. TiE London has hosted prestigious events, investment competitions and offered extraordinary networking opportunities for it’s members throughout Dinesh’s presidency.
2017 has been an exciting year for TiE London. Due to a continued commitment to high-quality events, new initiatives and an active Board, Charter Membership has more than doubled under Dinesh’s Presidency and we have welcomed two large corporate sponsors on board, BDO and Investec Bank.
However, It is now time for a new President, Nina Amin to take the helm. Nina has been a TIE board member for the last 3 years and is a Partner at KPMG. She works with entrepreneurial businesses on all aspects of their life cycle. Nina is passionate about building a strong and lasting network where entrepreneurs can come together, share ideas and network with each other to promote their businesses. Nina launched the Tie Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) at the TiE Gala Dinner, which is a new TiE London Membership especially for young entrepreneurs under the age of 35. Her aim is to help build a strong network for the next generation of entrepreneurs and help mentor them where appropriate. TiE also has a Membership for women entrepreneurs, TiE Women, led by Radhika Seth.
Nina said, “Britain is one of the most entrepreneurial countries in Europe and Asians are one of the most entrepreneurial communities within Britain. They make a huge contribution to UK’s GDP and it is now time to help the next generation of entrepreneurs in the rapidly advancing technology world.”
Charter Membership to TiE London is £850 + VAT per year. TYE Membership is £450 + VAT.
