After a long sabbatical from Tamil Cinema, director Rajiv Menon is back with a brand new movie! Known for his well-acclaimed hit films 'Minsara Kanavu' and 'Kandukondein Kandukondein', Menon's 'Sarva Thaala Mayam' will feature GV Prakash in the lead, with music being rendered by Oscar winner AR Rahman. It has been reported that shooting for the film has been kick-started in Chennai.
Fans of Menon's work have long been waiting for a new film by the ace filmmaker, especially since it has been over a decade since 'Kandukondein...' hit theatres. The new project is reportedly a musical entertainer that has Prakash playing a percussionist. First look for the movie was unveiled last week and it's needless to say, the movie is a winner. The image shows Prakash airborne as if jumping off a bridge, clad in a white dhoti and red shawl. He is also seen with a mridangam, and a number of chains and threads around his neck.
