On A Quest, is an inspiring yet poignant story of an ordinary who became one of the most powerful orators of Truth, His Holiness Swami Chinmayananda. The film was shown on the big screen for the first time on 9th March 2015 at Vue in Central London.
This Chinmaya Creations produced movie has already had over 100 screenings across India and the Far East. The film has received rave reviews and appreciation from the audiences, as well as from acclaimed publications.
This film was produced and to mark the 100 years since the birth of Swami Chinmayananda. The cast and crew of the production consisted of film professionals, amateurs, and devotees, including the Director of Photography, Siddhartha Nuni, who has previously worked on the Oscar-winning motion picture, Life of Pi, and London-based writer, Natasha Chawla, who assisted with the scripting process. Everyone involved with the cinematic venture, both new and old, garnered further appreciation and respect for the ideals and values on which the Chinmaya Mission stands.
There are plans for further screenings of On A Quest to be held in the UK.
