On the invitation by the British Army’s Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Nick Carter, the Pakistan Army Cricket Team is to tour the United Kingdom (22nd - 30th July) in a series of matches designed as much to further foster relationships between the two nations’ military communities, through the Defence Engagement initiative, as it is to test each others’ teams at the crease.

The stand out match of the series will undoubtedly be the British Army first XI vs The Pakistan Army’s first XI to be played at the Army Cricket Ground at the ‘Home of the British Army’, Aldershot on Monday 27th July. Among the principal guests invited to watch the match will be senior British and Pakistan Army Officers, His Excellency, Syed Ibne Abbas, the Pakistan High Commissioner along with fellow members from the Pakistan High Commission, business and regional communities.
