There comes a time when as a British Hindu of Indian origin, I have to ask the question, ‘are the police negligent, incompetent or both?’. It’s not good reading for the police, nor is it good for our PM Truss or the Home Secretary, the Rt Hon Suella Braverman MP.
Leicester has exposed the worst in our policing, and not for the first time. There is now no doubt that the problems in Leicester stemmed from Islamists attacking Hindus. Many of us told the police what the problem was, and where it was coming from. We even told the police of the ramifications of not taking early action. In the end, our advice fell on deaf ears, and we witnessed a series of attacks on Hindus, Hindu families and Hindu mandirs.
Then in an astonishing error of utter stupidity, in a letter to Leicester Council of Faiths, Chief Inspector Paul Allen falsely claimed that a small group of people called for the death of Muslims and Pakistan. He alleged that the provocative slogans were raised in Hindi, indicating that it must have been the handiwork of the Indian Hindu diaspora. It later transpired that the police got it all wrong and had to make a humiliating correction saying, “We have investigated this and can find no verifiable evidence that there were any chants of death to Muslims”. This single act of police negligence can be considered as instrumental in giving the Islamists a green light to attack Hindus. Which they did of course.
The police were told of specific individuals on twitter (and other SM) who were spreading fake news. Some were openly advocating incitement based on hatred for Hindus. These were religiously motivated crimes, committed by British Islamists who did not have a care in the world. They knew the police would do nothing.
There is precedence for such inaction by the police. I am reminded of the negligence shown by the police in Rotherham and other northern towns where gangs of Pakistani men feasted on white girls. The grooming gangs were, and have been, allowed to do whatever they wanted knowing that the cops were either too cowardly to do anything or some who appeared to be complicit in these hideous crimes. This madness continues even today.
Remember it was Islamists (mostly Pakistani’s) that attacked Indians outside the High Commission in 2019. Right in front of our police, and with no ramifications for the anarchists.
Time and again we witness that Islamists can do whatever they want, and the cops will hide in their shelter of appeasement. Is it cowardice? Is it a directive from the Home Office? Is it that they have one law for all of us, and another for Islamists? What is clear is that the police are on the verge of losing the confidence of the people. And that is dangerous. Hindus are amongst the most law-abiding citizens, yet instead of protecting them from attacks, the police appear to care more for the perpetrators. With rhetoric and platitudes used justify their inaction, I am sorry, but I don’t care two hoots about such pathetic excuses.
There now needs to be a full judicial investigation into what happened in Leicester. Every aspect must be looked at, and the outcome of the inquiry should be public. It’s also time that Hinduphobia (anti-Hindu) becomes recognised in law.
It’s clear, the Government needs to allocate sufficient funding to allow the community to set up proactive measures to protect the safety and security of Hindus and Hindu mandirs (as they have done for the Jewish community).
Islamists are the enemy of the Jews, of Hindus, of white girls and of British society. Lest people forget, they are also the enemy of Muslims who face repercussions in their daily lives because of these extremists.
Interestingly, not one Muslim politician has come out and denounced the Islamists. Now that is telling.
For there to be peace and harmony in the nation, we must be united and strong. One people, one nation, one flag and one law are the cornerstone of a true democracy.
