Who is responsible for Islamic terrorism – Je Suis Charlie?

An American scriptwriter put it like this:“So you know what strikes me the most about terrorism? It's 100% failure rate. Not only do terrorists always fail at what they're after, they pretty much always succeed in strengthening whatever it is they're against. What about the IRA?
The Brits are still there. The Protestants are still there. Basque extremists have been staging terrorist attacks in Spain for decades with no result. Left Wing Red Brigades from the 60s and 70s, from the Bader-Meinhoff gang in Germany to the Weatherman in the U.S. have tried to take over capitalism. You tell me. How's capitalism doing?”
Muslims killed 2000 women and children in Nigeria this past week. This week in Saudi Arabia a man was flogged and lashed for blasphemy to Islam.
In the West we have to involve ourselves in the lives of those in other countries. It’s how we must think. It is our responsibility, the responsibility of our UN, our governments that 2000 died in Nigeria.  And we failed in our responsibilities.
Terrorists only strengthen our resolve. Our laws should no longer stop at our borders.
But at the forefront, we want those of the same faith to shut down their Mosques and Imams and Madrassas which are teaching putting god before law. And in their countries where the law puts god first, we want them to change their laws. We will not stand on the bylines and say ‘that is their country’.
Because you can come from your country into mine, carrying your guns, it is my business what happens in your country. And we will no longer say your religion is more important than our laws. Our laws come first. And we want our laws in your countries because your laws are killing our people and our beliefs – our belief that freedom comes before God.
This week the French will publish a magazine with an image of the Prophet Mohammed holding a sign saying ‘Je Suis Charlie’. They are using the right to free speech. That image is an insult to a billion Muslims because it depicts the Prophet Mohammed.
When some companies used the image of Krishna on toilet seats, Hindus were insulted. The companies had a right to free speech. Hindus were insulted. Those companies chose not to exercise that right any further when Hindus pointed this out. Hindus took no lives. We put the rule of law above all else.
The rule of law comes above the protection of god, and if you don’t like the laws, change them through the ballot box, not the bullet.
