Siberian swans arrive as Britain faces longest winter

It is said that the UK will be facing its longest winter in 50 years as Siberian swans have started to arrive, although they traditionally make their way to Britain during the start of winter.

Every year, approximately 300 Bewick's swans arrive after migrating 2,500 miles from Arctic Russia, to escape the approaching cold weather, which follows closely behind them.
