According to a leaked private polling, left-wing MP, Jeremy Corbyn, is set out to win the Labour party leadership race. It is reported from a poll that Corbyn is 15 points ahead of his competitors.

The results are said to be from two rival leadership campaigns. The results have prompted bookmakers to change the payout of the outcome from high odds to lower odds. Bookies such as Ladbrokes have put the chances of Corbyn winning as 5-1, compared to the 100-1 at the beginning of the contest in the previous month.

Corbyn, who is the MP for Islington North since 1983, also received 43 nominations from constituency Labour party (CLP) groups. This leaves him behind Andy Burnham, who is considered as the favourite to win.
