Boxing superstar Amir Khan is going to host a glittering fundraising dinner for the Scottish launch of the Amir Khan Foundation in Glasgow and raise funds for an orphanage in Gambia.
Set up by Khan to enable him to be hands-on with his charity work, the Amir Khan Foundation provides crucial support to disadvantaged young people in the UK and worldwide.
Cook Gill, co-founder of the restaurant, said: “We’re thrilled that King Khan has chosen our World Buffet at The Quay as the venue for the Scottish launch of his charitable venture and can’t wait for the night to arrive – it’s going to be knock-out!”
