Nine in ten hospitals are severely understaffed

According to official figures, nine out of ten hospitals in England have been reported as being severely understaffed, which has increased the fears of a winter crisis occurring.

Senior nurses are worried about the increasing pressure during the winter, as there is just one nurse for 22 patients in some hospitals.
