A paedophile was jailed after police found a string of sickening child sex abuse pictures on a computer left at a railway station.
Harjit Sian was locked up for 18 months following a two-year investigation.
The computer was left at Wolverhampton station by a second pervert, Christopher Williams.
Police analysis of the machine found Sian had sent Williams indecent pictures and had begged to be contacted for phone sex.
And a laptop and storage card containing more than 900 abuse pictures and four videos were found at Sian’s home in Quinton Road West, Quinton.
Sian, 42, was jailed for 18 months after admitting seven offences of possessing and distributing indecent images of children at Birmingham Crown Court. He was also placed on the sex offender register for ten years.
Williams was convicted of possessing and distributing indecent images of children in October 2014.
Supt Allan Gregory, of British Transport Police , said: “In interview, it was clear Sian did not comprehend the gravity of his offending or the impact it had on others. To him, they were simply images and he didn’t associate them with the wider abuse of children, which would’ve taken place for them to exist. We are satisfied with the sentence handed to Sian, which reflects the seriousness of the offences he committed and we hope it gives him time to fully consider what he has done."
