A 17-year-old girl from Leicester who went missing nearly a week ago has been found safe and well according to the police.
Amina Khan was reported missing on Monday May 23 by a family member after she had not been seen since 2pm the previous day.
The teenager is originally from Burton-upon-Trent, in Staffordshire, but had been staying with relatives in Leicester for the last couple of weeks.
Amina is Asian, 5ft 1ins tall, of slim build and has long light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black parker-style jacket, a black top, high-waisted blue jeans, white deck shoes with a black stripe on the sole and she was carrying a black handbag.
Her family were concerned for her welfare and encouraged Amina or anyone who knew where she was to contact the police.
A Leicestershire police spokesman said she had been found safe and well on Saturday afternoon.
