Manipulative pervert groomed vulnerable teen

A ‘manipulative’ pervert groomed a vulnerable teenage girl and then called her from prison to ask her to lie to police. Waheed Jahangir, 37, from Longsight, has now been jailed for three years and eight months after pleading guilty to child sexual exploitation offences. Manchester Crown Court heard how officers first spotted a missing 16-year-old girl in Jahangir’s car in May last year. On Monday, he pleaded guilty to grooming, possession of indecent images of a child, sexual activity with a child and perverting the course of justice.
