Man in court after bank account was used to launder £9,500

A man whose account was used to launder £9,500 in a bank fraud was given a suspended jail sentence. Muhammed Khalifa, 23, admitted retaining a wrongful credit, last August.

He was given a 22 week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, with a 35-day rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to do 140 hours of unpaid work.
