The English Defence League has announced another demonstration in Birmingham city centre on October 11th weekend. The nationalist group sparked controversy last summer when violence exploded along the city's famous Broad Street. Hundreds of right-wing protestors gathered in Centenary Square where bottles were launched as arsenal. West Midlands Police said they had to make 33 arrests for the sake of public order.
This year policeman are seeking to discuss the demonstration with the main organisers for a civil and orderly day.
