What is London Assembly?

The London assembly holds the Mayor to account by examining his or her decisions. It also investigates isues that matters to Londoners. The London Assembly is made up of 25 Members. 14 Assembly Members are elected to represent London's 14 constituencies. Another 11 Members represent London as a whole. Assembly Members are elected for 4 years.
