Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were called to tackle a blaze on Tuesday 21st April 2015, in Paddington at Chicken Cottage, a fast-food joint which has flats located above.
The police, as well as firefighters from Kensington, Paddington and Euston fire stations were called to Praed Street, where the fire took place.
It is said that part of the shop’s ducting – the restaurant’s extraction system caught fire, as well as part of a flat roof at the rear of the building.
London Fire Brigade were called after 8:30am. They had received 15 calls regarding the fire at Paddington. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
