Exams to be marked in India to relieve stress off UK teachers

An academic has suggested that schools in Britain should send their exams papers to be marked in India, so that it takes off the pressure from British school teachers.

A particular exam board is already using there services provided by a company in Bangalore, which marks practical skills tests in reading, mathematics and Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

However, some headteachers have been vigilant of this idea, as they consider marking pupils' work as an essential part of a teacher's job criteria.
