Agra: A newly wed resident of Agra was shot dead in a road rage incident in Indianapolis, United States, last week. Gavin Dasaur, 29, and Cinthya Viviana Zamora, a Mexican-origin woman he married just 18 days ago, were riding a two-wheeler when a white Chevy pick-up truck recklessly overtook them.
A purported video of the incident shows Gavin pulling out a gun and confronting the truck driver while banging on the car. The two get into a scuffle before the driver pulls out a gun and shoots Gavin multiple times.
Police arrived at the scene and carried out the necessary legal procedures. However, to the family’s dismay, “the driver, who, unlike Gavin, was a US citizen, was released.” The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said that the investigation into the shooting and the circumstances surrounding the alleged road rage incident is ongoing.
Gavin’s father, Pawan Dasaur, a retired insurance company employee, said his son graduated in science from St John’s Degree College in Agra. He left for the US in 2016 to pursue a diploma in automobile engineering.
