Pakistan government has stated that its high commission website was hacked, a prank they believe was played by Indian hackers. The website was black and remained non functional until it was restored.
“Yes, the website was hacked,“ Manzoor Memon, minister said. “A black screen appeared on the home page of the website with the name `Sh4dow X' written at the bottom,“ he said. “The website has been put down by some Indians,“ he alleged. When asked if he had filed a police complaint, he denied.
The website `pakhcnewdelhi.org.pk' is the official website on which the office of the Pakistan high commission puts out press releases and provides online forms for visa applications. “It was a user-friendly platform and provided people to people contact,” said Memon.
