CNN has dropped a political commentator following accusations that she sent Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton questions likely to come up in a debate sponsored by the network.
Donna Brazile, interim chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, announced her departure on October 31 on Twitter.
Brazile, who has been a part of the Clintons' inner circle since the 1990s, appears to have leaked two questions ahead of time during the primary season.
The CNN-sponsored debate and voter town hall event in March was against Vermont senator Bernie Sanders.
CNN said: “We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learnt about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor.”
