The Islamic State cut off Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's attempt to initiate peace talks with the terror outfit, with a photograph of a beheaded man. Addressing the media, the spiritual guru said, “I tried to initiate peace talks with the ISIS recently but they sent me a photograph of a beheaded body of a man. Thus, my effort for a peace dialogue with the ISIS ended.”
“I think the ISIS does not want any peace talks,” he told the media. “Hence, they should be dealt by military.”
He held a series of meetings across Kolkata, during his 3-day visit, stressing on the need to bring peace in India's northwest. He also urged militant outfits of the region to hold peace talks with the government. Sri Sri said his only aim was to spread peace, unite all cultures, religions, faith and ideologies.
