Woman burns husband, 6 of his kin to death in TN

Madurai (Tamil Nadu): Enraged that her husband was planning to remarry, a woman allegedly torched him to death along with six members of his family at a village in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu. Police said the woman, Pandeeswari, 25, along with her mother and brother, doused the sleeping members of the family with kerosene, threw a burning torch, locked up the house and fled. The woman, her 50-year-old mother and 27-year-old brother have been arrested. Police said Pandeeswari got married to Kannan, 27, about three years ago. But, the couple had been living separately for the last one year due to differences. They said the woman had been threatening to kill his family if he did not come back to live with her.
