COIMBATORE: A yoga teacher has made an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records by continuously performing Yoga for 69 hours, which concluded on June 21, International Yoga Day. The attempt by V Gunasekaran, titled 'Longest Yoga Marathon', commenced at 5 pm on June 18 and ended at 2 pm on June 21. During the event which was spread across 4 days, the performer was able to take a break of five minutes every hour, during which he could consume food. During his 69-hour attempt, he performed around 200 yogasanas. He has made several records in the past, including the Elite World Record and Unique World Record for doing yogasanas for 43 hours.
