Revanna granted bail in sexual harassment case

A special court for elected representatives granted bail to JD(S) MLA HD Revanna in a sexual harassment case registered against him in Holenarasipura. Special judge J Preet directed Revanna to furnish a bond of Rs 500,000 and surety of one person. This is the second bail granted to Revanna. Last Monday, another special court granted bail to the Holenarasipura MLA in a kidnapping case in which he is accused of orchestrating the abduction of a 47-year-old woman. The kidnapping case, registered in KR Nagar, Mysuru district, was transferred to the special investigation team probing the Hassan sex scandal. The court had directed Revanna not to enter KR Nagar until further orders. In the Holenarasipura case, Revanna is arraigned as accused No. 1, followed by his son Prajwal as the second accused.
