Kerala govt seeks 2 days for women at Sabarimala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala government has suggested the High Court to set aside two days during the ongoing annual pilgrimage season, exclusively for women in the age group of 10 to 50. The submission was made by state attorney KV Sohan during the hearing of a case over providing adequate security and facilities for young women to visit the shrine in view of the Supreme Court's verdict. A division bench led by Chief Justice had directed Travancore Devaswom Board to inform the court about infrastructure facilities and safety measures in place for women in the above mentioned age group, to visit the temple. No other details have been suggested in the submission.
