CHENNAI: DMK president and former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi suffered a major medical problem on July 28, while at his residence in Chennai. He was immediately rushed to nearby hospital where his condition improved. In a bulletin, the hospital said there was a significant drop in his blood pressure, but now he is stable. The leader is currently in the ICU and is being treated by a panel of doctors. He was reportedly suffering from fever and infection for the past few days and was attended by a team of doctors and nursing personnel at his house.
