NEW DELHI: Low-cost carrier IndiGo has finally lifted the flying ban on Telugu Desam Party MP Diwakar Reddy. In a statement, it said, “Senior IndiGo officials met Diwakar Reddy and amicably resolved the issue between the two and decided to lift the ban with immediate effect while Reddy would withdraw the case he has filed. The Federation of Indian Airlines has also been informed about the decision. IndiGo appreciates and thanks the member airlines for their continued support.” Reddy, after allegedly manhandling IndiGo's ground staff at Vizag Airport on June 15, was banned from flying.
