New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a preliminary inquiry to probe the mysterious death of IAS officer D K Ravi, who was found dead on March 16 at his residence in Bengaluru. CBI sources said the probe would cover all angles, including “suicide” and “conspiracy,” behind Ravi's death. A special crimes division team, accompanied by CFSL experts, will visit Ravi's house and also meet CID officials in Bengaluru for collecting all the documents of the case. The agency received the notification from the department of personnel and training after which the PE has been registered. The Karnataka government had earlier sent a request for a CBI probe into the case.
