Visakhapatnam Police issued a notice to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, prohibiting him from holding rallies in the city till October 31. This comes after his supporters went on a rampage and created a law and order situation earlier. Supporters of the actor-politician also reportedly attacked the car of Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) minister RK Roja who was in Visakhapatnam to attend an event. Driver of Roja, who is the Industrial Development Corporation Chairperson, suffered a head injury in the attack and was taken to hospital for treatment. Vehicles of other leaders – Jogi Ramesh and TTD chairperson Y V Subba Reddy – were also reportedly attacked.
