Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for polls to the Legislative Council seats from two graduate constituencies in Telangana and two in Andhra Pradesh. The poll will take place on March 16 and the results will be declared on March 19.
The Constituencies are: Warangal - Nalgonda - Khammam and Hyderabad - Ranga Reddy - Mahabubnagar in Telangana, while Krishna-Guntur and East and West Godavari are the Teachers' Constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. The ruling TRS is planning to field Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari from the Warangal seat while TDP will field A S Ramakrishna and K V V Satyanarayana Raju from the two Andhra constituencies.
