Prime ministers, foreign ministers and ministers from across the globe, along with ambassadors and high commissioners of a large number of countries, have given their consent to attend the 7th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit (VGGIS) beginning on January 11.
They include UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon, US secretary of state John Kerry, Bhutan's Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Grueveski. The Government of India will be represented by a host of ministers.
The VGGIS-2015 is scheduled to be a big meeting ground for heads of states as well as top honchos of global corporations, banks and financial institutions.The deliberations are likely to facilitate framing new industrial and related policies.
Prominent among others to participate in country seminars are UK, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Netherlands, Sweden, Canada, UAE, Israel, Bahrain and Afghanistan.
