Pujya Swami Paramatmanandaji Saraswati, founder acharya of Arsha Vidya Mandir, holds a certain fervour and commitment towards Indian traditional values and a deep sense of concern towards the society. The senior disciple of Param Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Pujya Swamiji has attended a rigorous three and half year residential courses in Vedanta at Rishikesh and other places, after the completion of which, he started spreading his knowledge and has persevered it for the last 30 years.
Swamiji's ability to teach across all the sections of the society has helped him reach out from school and college students to corporate executives. His talks reveal clarity, the deep understanding of the human life and are enriched with systematic and rational but lucid presentation with relevant examples.
He has conducted several 'reach-out' programmes to keep our heritage alive and bring a change of basic human values. He was awarded with a special 5 day residential training programme to train teachers by the HRD Ministry of India, where more than 3,500 teachers were trained so far. He is also a visiting faculty to the Saurashtra University's Academic Staff College and other institutions. His Rajkot Ashram conducts regular residential and value education programmes for primary and secondary school children and has addressed about 9,000 children so far.
One day programmes for the employees of the Gujarat Electricity Board and the staff members of the Government of Gujarat that was aimed to make government employees more responsible and citizen friendly, has conducted more than 100 seminars so far. Swamiji additionally conducts classes and series of lectures, called Gyan-Yajnas and residential spiritual retreats to impart Vedantic and and cultural wisdom to seekers.
He is an active participant of various institutions in India and abroad. He is the Convener of the Dharma Raksha Manch, Co-Convener of the Ganga Raksha Manch, the Ex-Chairman of the Vishwa Mangal Gan Gram Yatra, Gujarat, Chairing or Board member of different organisations and the
Secretary General of the Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha. He was the first to raise voice against the Setu Samudram Channel Project and initiated the Ram Setu Raksha Movement, bringing it to a conclusive end.
Working with the propaganda to promote and preserve Hinduism internationally, he has partaken in several events. He was present in the historic Hindu-Jewish Declaration in Jerusalem, 2008. Was invited by the President of Israel to participate in the Israeli President's Conference in 2008. Represented the religion in New York, at the invitation of the American-Jewish Community in 2009, where he held discussions at Capitol Hill with representatives from the US Presidency. Represented Hinduism at the World Religious Leaders' Summit at Baku, and G8 World Religious Leaders' Summit at Winnipeg in the year of 2010. He also inaugurated the World Hindu Wisdom Meet at Bali with Dy. Education Minister of Indonesia in April 2014. He also visited Japan, Indonesia, Portugal, Spain and Norway this year to attend various religious and Yoga conferences and discourses.
