Fatehgarh Sahib: President of Punjab's Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Suraksha Samiti was shot dead allegedly by his security guard at his residence in Sirhand. The 45 year old Manish Sood was killed by Somnath after he allegedly pumped over 15 bullets into the party president, killing him on the spot. Khanna Senior Superintendent of Police Gurpreet Singh Gill reached the spot after the incident. The body has been sent for post mortem and an FIR was registered against Somnath. He said the reason behind Manish's murder was not known yet, adding that investigations were on in the case.
