Chandigarh: Punjab Police SP Salwinder Singh, who was allegedly kidnapped by terrorists before they attacked the Pathankot air base, will undergo a polygraph, or lie-detection, test next week as part of the investigations of the attack. “We will seek court orders for his polygraph test,” an NIA officer said. Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar met with top officers from their departments to discuss the “takeaways” from the Pathankot incident. As per a ministry release, the ministers appreciated the work done by both the intelligence agencies, and discussed steps to strengthen prevention, detection ad thwarting of such attacks in future. One of the key issues to be discussed were the upgrading of intelligence and technology to foil terror attacks.
