Elderly man kills son to marry daughter-in-law

FARIDKOT: In a brutal incident, a 62 year old man has allegedly murdered his son to marry his daughter-in-law. The accused, identified as Chhota Singh, was arrested for killing his 40 year old son in Dabri Khana, Faridkot. He killed his son Rajwinder Singh with a sharp knife following a heated argument over his alleged affair with the victim's wife. A case has been registered against Chhota Singh. Chhota killed his son when he was sleeping in his room, cutting his body into pieces and putting them in plastic bags after. When he tried to dump them in a sewer, his nephew Gurcharan Singh caught and handed him over to police after noticing blood stains in the house. There was reported animosity between Chhota and Rajwinder over the former's alleged affair with Jasvir Kaur.
