TMC leader among 3 killed in bomb blast

A Trinamool leader, his brother and another man died when a bomb went off at their house in Nariabila village, in Bengal’s East Midnapore district. Two others were wounded. The bodies of Rajkumar Manna, his brother Debkumar Manna, and Biswajit Gayen were found wrapped in mattresses 2 km away from the Mannas’ home, fuelling questions whether a bomb set off in the house or was it hurled from outside. The explosion ripped apart a large part of the house. Rajkumar’s wife Latarani alleged that bombs were thrown at their home when her husband and the others were inside.
