Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to chair a significant meeting in Tripura, addressing various developmental issues of the North Eastern region from August 31 to September 1. The meeting of the North Eastern Development Council (NEC) marks the first such gathering since the formation of the BJP coalition government in Tripura. “This is a pivotal moment for our state and the entire North Eastern region,” stated Chief Minister Manik Saha during a press briefing. “Besides the Chief Ministers of eight states, including Tripura, the Governors will also be present.” Chief Minister Saha further announced that DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will attend the two-day meeting, scheduled for August 31 and September 1. “We are looking forward to fruitful discussions and actionable outcomes from this important assembly,” he added.
