New variants of the Covid-19 continue to surge with the virus getting weaker and the symptoms milder. In this article, we discuss ingredients to include in your diet and consume on a daily basis. These items will help your body fight the virus.

All kinds of vegetables, and most importantly leafy greens. The Winter season brings an abundance of leafy vegetables and now is the time to load up on them and if possible, pair them with ghee. Berries like strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, etc., along with fruits like pomegranate, pineapple, papaya, banana, apple, kiwi, and citrus fruits like grapefruit, orange, lemon and avocado.

Including whole grains like quinoa, oatmeal, brown rice, amaranth, millet, and teff is important. Nuts and seeds like walnuts, pecans, almonds, cashews, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, etc. Cook with herbs and spices like turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, ginger, and garlic.
