Vijay Antony, who has already seen the release of ‘Romeo’ and ‘Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan’ this year, is now preparing for his third film, an action thriller titled ‘Hitler’. In a conversation, he explained that the back-to-back releases weren’t part of a deliberate strategy. “I had signed on for these films quite some time ago, but due to various delays, they’re all releasing around the same time. It now looks like I’m having a new release every couple of months,” he shared.
He shared, "I always give my 100% when working on a project, but I don't dwell on its success or failure. Financial pressure arises when a film doesn't recover its investment, but on a personal level, I remain unaffected. I'm never overly excited, happy, or sad—nothing stirs me. I don't believe anything in this world can truly shake me."
Addressing the trend of hero-centric films, he said, "Hitler has all the ingredients of a typical commercial movie. It's an action thriller that explores the theme of poverty. Many hero-centric films today focus on poverty and the fight against it. Over the next couple of years, we'll see many films tackling this subject, but each will have its own unique flavour. The same holds true for my film as well."
