Addressing the Chennai airport last week, superstar Rajinikanth has clarified that he is in no hurry to “jump into the political scene immediately”. The 66 year old has hinted at a possibility of joining politics in recent times. On an earlier occasion, while addressing his supporters, he had even urged them to be “ready for war” when the time came. He had also said the “system is rotten”. The superstar reportedly visited the Mantralayam temple in Andhra Pradesh, which is famous for the Brindavan of Shri Raghavendra Swami. As his Shankar directorial '2.0' gears up for release, reports suggest he may be seen together in upcoming Marathi film 'Pasaayadan', with none other than Mammootty.
Both the actors had last come together on-screen for the first time in 1991 Tamil film 'Thalapathy' which fared extremely well with the fans. 'Pasaayadan' will also serve as their Marathi debut. Reports said the film is expected to go on the floors in February 2018, and will most likely be produced by Balkrishna Surve. Popularity of both the fans is so intense, when 'Thalapathy' released, makers had to shoot different climaxes so as to comply to the requirements and sentiments of the fans of the actors in Tamil Nadu and Kerala respectively.
