Actor Suriya has been making significant adjustments to his upcoming projects. Initially set to collaborate with Vetrimaaran for "Vaadi Vasal," the film has been indefinitely postponed. Similarly, plans to team up with Pa Ranjith didn't come to fruition. However, he has now announced a project with Sudha Kongara titled "Puranaanooru." A week ago, Suriya and Sudha released a statement explaining that their film's delay is due to their desire to do justice to the story. However, the latest development reveals that the actor is now collaborating with Karthik Subbaraj for a project tentatively titled "Suriya 44."
Subbaraj took everyone by surprise when he unveiled the first-look poster of the movie, showcasing a vintage car engulfed in flames. In the foreground, a tree bears a carving of a heart pierced by an arrow.
Sharing the poster, Karthik Subbaraj wrote, “My Next Film is with the Ever-Awesome Suriya Sir. So pumped up for this.” It also had the hashtag ‘#LoveLaughterWar’. By the looks of it, the film will be yet another movie from Subbaraj that will have a message about environmental conservation.
Further details about the film are currently under wraps. Subbaraj was initially anticipated to collaborate with Vijay for the actor's upcoming project, but it seems the actor-politician has opted for different plans. Meanwhile, Suriya is set to appear in "Kanguva," directed by Siva.
