Actress Simran, known for her perfect figure and acting to match, ruled South Indian cinema for more than a decade during the nineties. She has a special place in Tamil cinema after playing leading lady to all the top actors like Kamal Hassan, Vijayakanth, Surya, Vijay, Ajith, Prashanth, Arjun, Sarathkumar, Murali and Prabhu Deva. Simran who is now very choosy with acting roles has announced that she was venturing into film production by floating a company called Simran and Sons. The svelte and sophisticated actress plans to produce two films this year with a plan to introduce young talents who she feels are the torch-bearers of tomorrow. Simran is also keen to don the director’s hat.
