On Saif Ali Khan's birthday, the Devara team unveiled a 52-second teaser showcasing his character, Bhaira, from Koratala Siva’s ‘Devara: Part 1’. This film, marking Khan’s Telugu debut, features him alongside Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for ‘Devara’ shared the teaser with the caption, “His presence is a celebration of havoc. The hunt will be more brutal than ever.” The video reveals Saif Ali Khan’s character, Bhaira, in two distinct looks—one with short hair and the other with long.
The teaser opens with scenes of people praying and participating in a procession, then shifts to a traditional wrestling match where Bhaira is depicted as a formidable and ruthless competitor supported by the crowd. The video also shows him chasing someone through a forest, his long hair suggesting a different era.
Fans reacted enthusiastically to the glimpse, with one commenting, “Saif Sir’s best characterisation of his career. His vintage look feels vastundi. Best look.” Another fan noted, “Saif looks even more massy than Jr NTR.”
