Director Nithilan Saminathan shared on X ( formerly Twitter) photos with actor-politician Vijay, thanking him for supporting his recent film featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Anurag Kashyap.

Nithilan posted two pictures with Vijay: one showing them together and another with an additional person. In his post, he wrote, “Dear @actorvijay anna, thank you for this inspiring meeting. I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet you and deeply flattered by your detailed feedback on #Maharaja. Your support, love, and encouragement mean a lot to me. Love you. Also, a big thanks to my producers @Sudhans2017 and @Jagadishbliss for everything.”

Maharaja marks Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film. It premiered in theatres before becoming available on Netflix and was released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film follows the story of a barber who reports his missing dustbin, named Lakshmi, to the police. As the plot unfolds, it becomes clear that the story is about much more than just the missing bin. The revenge saga also features Abhirami and Mamta Mohandas.
