Nani’s career revelation: ‘I would've been projector operator if not an actor’

Actor Nani, a cherished figure in Telugu cinema, is preparing for the release of his new film, ‘Saripoda Sanivaaram’. Renowned for his versatile performances, Nani has captivated audiences throughout his career. During the film’s promotion, he made an unexpected revelation about his future career direction.

According to Gulte, Nani revealed that if he hadn’t become an actor, he would have chosen to work as a projector operator in a theatre. This reflects his deep passion for cinema, showing that even if he weren't in front of the camera, he would still be involved in film in some capacity.

Before achieving stardom, Nani's journey in the entertainment industry was gradual. He began as a Radio Jockey and program producer for a local Telugu station, where his voice and charisma first drew attention. He then moved into the film industry as an Assistant Director before making his acting debut with ‘Ashta Chemma’ in 2008, which launched his successful career.

Directed by Vivek Athreya, ‘Saripoda Sanivaaram’ features Nani as a vigilante working on Saturdays. This film is another collaboration between Nani and Athreya, and it also stars Priyanka Mohan, S.J. Suryah, Aditi Balan, P. Sai Kumar, and Subhalekha Sudhakar.
