Nani who was promoting his film ‘Saripotha Sanivaaram’ directed by Vivek Athreya, expressed his deep admiration for Kamal Haasan in a recent interview. A lifelong fan, Nani described Kamal Haasan as "a gift to cinema itself."

Nani, reflecting on his admiration for Kamal Haasan, said, "Cinema has given us so much, and if we could give anything back, it would be Kamal Haasan, sir. He is truly a gift to cinema. Kamal Haasan has excelled in every aspect of the Indian film industry, dedicating his entire life to it. Starting his career at just 5 years old, he continues to be a leading man, with major films still riding on his name. His legacy is truly unbreakable."

He added, "Having worked through different eras, Kamal Sir has witnessed the first of everything—the transition to digital, the early makeup trials. The changes we see now won't be on the same scale. His contributions to cinema are truly on a different level."

Nani expressed his admiration for Aamir Khan, highlighting ‘Lagaan’, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, and ‘Rang De Basanti’ as some of his most memorable films.
