Nadigar Sangam met to address women's safety in the Tamil film industry, prompted by the Justice K Hema Committee report on exploitation in Malayalam cinema. The resolution came after a review by their Gender Sensitisation and Internal Committee.

Nassar, President of Nadigar Sangam, and his team, including Vishal as General Secretary, along with Karthi, Ponbannan, and Karunas, have resolved to provide legal aid to victims of sexual harassment in the Tamil film industry.

Complaints will be thoroughly investigated, and if verified, the producers’ association will recommend a five-year ban for the offender. Victims are advised to approach the committee before speaking to the media.

Offenders will first receive a warning before further action is taken. The committee has established a dedicated email and phone number for victims to file complaints. Additionally, Nadigar Sangam will support those seeking to report offensive content on YouTube.
