Harbhajan Singh, the former Indian cricketer, became a beloved figure among the Tamil audience during his tenure with Chennai in the domestic T20 league. He showcased his affection for the Tamil language through social media posts and shared several Tamil poems. This led to opportunities in Tamil cinema, where he earned praise from Kollywood fans for his performances.
And his fans are in for a treat, as Harbhajan Singh has now revealed his next Tamil film, which is a psycho-thriller.
The former cricketer, now an actor, portrays a doctor in the film centred around 12 murders occurring in a single night—a compelling premise. Harbhajan Singh expressed his enthusiasm for the movie during commentary at the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup match between India and Afghanistan.
Harbhajan Singh refrained from divulging further details, noting they would be officially confirmed by the production house. He began his acting journey with cameo appearances in Hindi films before debuting as a lead in the Tamil movie 'Friendship' in 2021. Directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya, the friendship drama featured him alongside Sathish and Losliya Mariyanesan. Additionally, Harbhajan Singh made a special appearance in the Tamil film 'Dikkilona,' starring Santhanam.
