The secret's out! Our super long wait for the haunting question, 'Kattappa ne Baahubali ko q maara?' (Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?) is over. Actor Sathyaraj, who plays the trusted Kattappa, has finally answered the question in a recent interview.
"It is very simple," he said. "Producers Shobu sir and Prasad sir paid me very well. And Rajamouli asked me to kill Baahubali, so I killed him. Otherwise, how can I kill Prabhas (Baahubali)? He has been my darling since 'Mirchi' (their 2003 film)." For those unsatisfied with the answer, 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' releases on April 28, 2017. Touted as one of the biggest film releases ever, the makers are reportedly set to release the multi-lingual movie across 6,500 screens.
